Splendid Dining at Regent Hong Kong The Steak House
Nestled in the heart of Hong Kong, the Steak House at Regent offers a dining experience that is as luxurious as it is memorable. The moment you step inside, you're greeted with an ambiance that blends classic sophistication with contemporary flair, setting the stage for a culinary adventure.
The service here is impeccable, with staff that are attentive, knowledgeable, and eager to recommend the perfect pairings from their extensive wine list. The highlight, of course, is their exceptional steaks. Each cut, from the succulent Tomahawk to the tender Filet Mignon from El Capricho in Spain, is cooked to perfection with a mastery that showcases the quality of the meat.
On our last visit, the Tomahawk from Mayura Farm in Australia was a standout—beautifully charred on the outside while remaining juicy and flavourful inside. It was complemented by side dishes that were equally impressive, such as the truffle mashed potatoes and sautéed mushrooms, each adding their own unique touch to the meal.
The wine selection is expansive, featuring bottles that harmonise wonderfully with the rich flavours of the beef. Ending the meal, the classic crème brûlée provided a sweet, creamy finish with a satisfyingly crisp top.
